Rifeng provided construction material supplies to Huoshenshan hospital in Wuhan
Since December 2019, coronavirus outbreak continues in China. According to the statistics reported from National Health Commission, the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus rose to 7,711 on the Chinese mainland and the death toll hit 170 until 29th January 2020. Among the total infections, 1,370 patients are in serious condition and 124 people had been cured and released from hospitals.
Until now, Hubei province remains the center of the outbreak. The provincial health commission stated that the confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in the province are 4586 as of January 29th.

The situation remains challenging and complex. Presentient Xi Jinping said all-out efforts must be made in the prevention and control of the contagion.
Huoshenshan Hospital, which is under construction, is a makeshift hospital for novel coronavirus patients in suburban Wuhan. Wuhan government announced on Jan 24 that it would build for designated patients a 1,000-bed mobile hospital with a floor area of 25,000 square meters, before Feb 3.

Rifeng has been paying close attention to the situation of the epidemic. Early on the morning of 25th, Rifeng learned that China Construction Third Engineering Division, one of the contractors of the Huoshenshan hospital, had a demand for pipeline materials.
Rifeng took immediately responded to the material assistance and organized the emergency dispatch to Wuhan. The first batch of pipe products including PVC drainage pipes and PVC conduit pipes were sent to Wuhan overnight from Rifeng Huangshi product base.

The second and the third batch of pipe materials were stock up at Foshan product base. But the distance from Foshan to Wuhan is more than 1,000 kilometers and it takes about 12 hours to drive continuously. Due to the difficulty in coordinating cross-provincial logistics vehicles during the festival, Rifeng decided to hire SF Express at its own expense of more than ten thousand RMB in order to send our pipeline products to Wuhan on time for Huoshenshan hospital construction.

In addition, Rifeng united Midea group, provided free air conditioning piping product sets for the air conditioning products donated by Midea to Huoshenshan hospital. All those products have arrived in Wuhan by January 28th and have been used in the construction of the hospital.

Rifeng will keep contacting with the China Construction Third Engineering Division for any possible assistant in the following days and to provide necessary support for fighting against with novel coronavirus. Our thoughts are with the many impacted by the novel coronavirus outbreak, and therefore we have decided to provide support as an immediate contribution to assist.
