HDPE pipes is made of high-density polyethylene. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is non-toxic, inexpensive, light in weight, excellent in moisture resistance and chemical stability, easy to shape and process, and is one of the widely used plastic materials. However, HDPE water supply pipe are limited by insufficient toughness, low hardness, and poor environmental stress cracking energy, so they cannot be widely used as structural materials.
High-density polyethylene, the English name is "High Density Polyethylene", or "HDPE" for short. Polyethylene (PE) is the simplest polymer and the most widely used polymer material. It consists of repeating –CH2 – units connected together. PE is formed by addition polymerization of ethylene CH2=CH2, and the performance of PE depends on its polymerization method.
HDPE MUNICIPAL PLUMBING SYSTEM can be widely application in: HDPE pipe has replaced steel pipe in competition in recent years. In the Federal Republic of Germany, about 50% of the total number of new equipment is the production of HDPE pipes for local gas distribution stations. The decisive factor is that the installation cost of HDPPE pipe is much lower than that of steel pipe. In the field of floor heating pipelines, PP copolymers were mainly used in the past, but now they are turning to cross-linked HDPE (VPE), and especially inclined to use radiation cross-linking.
