What is a pre-filter?
The pre-filter is the first coarse filtration equipment for the whole house, which can filter large particulate matter such as silt and rust in the tap water. The pre-filter is generally installed at the front end of the pipeline, so it is named after the word "pre"; and "filter" refers to the basic principle of this type of equipment.
The pre-filter is usually a "T" type structure. The left and right ends of the above "one horizontal" position are the water inlet and outlet respectively. The bottom "one vertical" position is the fuselage and the internal cylindrical filter, and the bottom end is the sewage outlet, which is controlled by a valve to open and close.
The accuracy range of the filter varies from 5-300 microns according to different brands and models. It mainly removes the precipitated impurities and bacteria, microbial remains, rust, sand and mud produced by the pipelines and particles larger than 5 microns to avoid harm to the human body and skin; and for downstream pipelines, water purifiers, water heaters, washing machines, and high-end Faucets and showers play a positive role in protection, and the pre-filter can also be added with a "hydrochloric acid and phosphorous" anti-scaling filter element to prevent solar energy and water boilers.
It is usually installed after the water meter of the water inlet pipe to ensure that the large amount of precipitated impurities produced in the pipe network will not cause harm to the human body, and it will play a positive role in protecting the hidden pipes, faucets, electrical appliances, etc. The pre-filter is the nemesis of secondary pollution and a reliable impurity filtering device.
